First, my name is Arlene Tucker and I'm 20 years old. I come from a family of 5 kids, with me being the oldest. I'm like a second mother to my brothers and they are a complete joy to have in my life. My beautiful mother raised me to have strong morals, to be an independent woman, and to show love and compassion towards other people. With that being said, I'm pretty well rounded and have quite a few skills that I'd love to share.
I currently live in Mililani Town, Hawaii. I recently got married to my amazing husband, James Tucker, on August 17th of this year. I met him when he already had his PCS orders to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii and so I still thought he was a great guy so I have him a shot! A few months later we got married and he went off to Hawaii before me. I spent some time in my hometown, El Paso, Texas, and then went to visit some friends in San Diego, California meanwhile my hubby got things settled in Hawaii.
Once James gave me the go to order my plane ticket, I was completely ecstatic! I've always lived in Texas and didn't know anything outside of that, so I was a little nervous but nonetheless excited to move to the middle of the Pacific Ocean. As soon as I arrived, my husband was waiting for me at the airport and it was great to be in his arms again :) Settling in Hawaii has been a little tough for me as I'm a stay at home wife with no car or no new friends. I'm used to knowing a lot of people around me and living here for the past month has been a little difficult so I've decided to hopefully make new friends on this blog (Hopefully other wives that have stationed spouses at Schofield too)
Being a young married wife can attract a lot of negative remarks and comments so I hope this blog to be able to catch young couples' attentions in terms of pretty much everything! Recipes, DIY, budgets, healthy lifestyle, recipes, enthralling stories, anything :)
